Monarch's approach to wine is to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible with their choices. Striving to offer the highest caliber wines available, we have personally tasted every wine on the list to ensure each selection is of the highest quality.

Value is also an important factor. Monarch believes in pricing its wines reasonably, which allows guests to make bolder choices and to try something new.

Today, our global market allows us greater accessibility to bring you both high quality and better value. Monarch's wine list reflects this global wine market, offering wines from many superior growing regions in the world including California, France, Italy and South America.

Smaller "boutique" wines difficult to find anywhere else, and which frequently offer better overall quality, are often featured on the wine list.  These less recognizable labels are well known by not only our sommelier, but also the entire staff, who are happy to provide details about specific wine selections. Guests are invited to tour our vast Wine Cellar-- made with glass walls to literally see as well as read more facts about certain wines and vintages. For our distinguished guests, who desire more of an intimate wine experience, we offer a private dining room attached to the wine cellar. This space seats twenty comfortably, and is perfect for wine tasting parties and other special occasions.

Our goal is not just to offer the greatest number of wines from a certain region, but to offer the highest quality varietals and vintages from a wide variety of regions & appellations around the world. Our wine list boasts over 425 distinct selections by the bottle, as well as 28 selections by the glass.

Individual preferences are always acknowledged, but we also enjoy guiding our guests in new and exciting directions.  We offer suggestions and encourage them to explore and expose their palates to wines from obscure regions. One of the greatest pleasures of wine is discovering the surprises of a lesser-known brand and region.

And of course, wine is made to enjoy with food-- certain wines are better matched with certain foods.  Generally speaking, the stronger flavored food or sauce ideally is paired with a more full-bodied wine. For example, steaks and chops are best matched with a robust wine such as a rich and concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon or a hearty Shiraz. Conversely, lighter fare like fish and chicken is best paired with a fruity Fumé Blanc or a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. At Monarch, our greatest concern is that our guests are satisfied and receive the greatest wine experience they could possibly have.
