Monarch Private Label

In Octoder 2005 Monarch Restaurant visited with Jim Clendenen, the wine maker and owner of Au Bon Climat in Santa Barbara Califonia. Together we have blended and bottled our own unique House Cuvee Chardonay, very bright, fruit forward and burgundian in style with a touch of oak. Due to the popularity of Pinot, in 2006 we decided to blend our own Pinot Noir, again from Santa Barbara with Jim Clendenen.

Both of these wines have been a huge success, and are available by the glass, and by the bottle at Monarch.

In 2007 Monarch started a company called Monarch Vineyards in Napa Valley and recently blended and bottled our third wine, the 2004 Reserve Merlot. The lush texture of Merlot shows in ripe, black plum fruit flavors wrapped around the toasty oak and wonderful coffee highlights.  Blueberry and raspberry add intriguing notes of interest as well.

All Monarch wines are available for purchase to-go and make wonderful holiday gifts.
